Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) is one of the additive manufacturing (AM) techniques that have emerged as most feasible and prevalent approach for generating functional parts due to its ability produce neat intricate parts. FDM mainly utilises widely used polymers, polylactic acid, also known polylactide (PLA). It an aliphatic polyester material biocompatible thermoplastic, with best design prospects eco-friendly properties; when PLA degrades, it breaks down into water carbon dioxide, neither which are hazardous environment. However, has limitations poor mechanical properties.
